I'm a big fan ofbut it has its drawbacks. There's the not-exactly-inclusive shade range, and the fact that — as most of its detractors will tell you — it seems to have been designed specifically for people with already-great skin and not a whole lot to cover up. But what if my face is freaking the hell out, as it was last week, when I somehow ran out of my. I needed waaay more coverage than the basically-just-tinted-milk Glossier formula offers, but preferably not from a thick foundation that would glom on to any breakouts or dry patches, inevitably making them look worse. I'm a big believer in skin looking like skin, so anything that looks too makeup-y is out of the question. It, too, comes in a somewhat underwhelming range of shades four. It's also incredibly lightweight — you literally forget you're wearing it once it's on — and leaves skin dewy rather than matte. But in terms of coverage, it has a lot more to offer the complexionally challenged, easily smoothing over breakouts and first aid beauty tinted moisturizer spots without turning into a mask-like situation. And its goodness doesn't stop there: The skin-perfecting liquid is also spiked with ingredients intended to brighten and protect skin, so with continued use, you may even wind up needing to use less of it. Goji berry is the star ingredient called out on the packaging, lauded for its high antioxidant concentration, meaning it wards off damage during the day. You don't use enough of it or reapply it often enough for it to give you the real sun protection you need, according to dermatologists. But if it's in there, it certainly doesn't hurt. Here's hoping they decide to expand the shade range soon. This in no way affects our editorial decision-making.
