On Tuesday, the artist had said she felt "self-destructive" in a passionate video transferred to her Facebook account.
In a subsequent message distributed on Wednesday, an anonymous representative stated: "I am posting at Sinead's ask for, to let everybody who cherishes her know she is sheltered, and not self-destructive.
"She requested this to be posted knowing you are worried for her."
"I trust this solaces those of you were concerned," they included.
O'Connor is seen crying in the 12-minute video, which she said she was transferring with an end goal to enable individuals to comprehend mental illness."I am currently living in a motel in New Jersey. I'm independent from anyone else," she said.
"Dysfunctional behavior, it resembles drugs, it doesn't [care] your identity, and similarly what's more terrible, the shame couldn't care less your identity.
"There's completely no one in my life aside from my specialist, my therapist - the sweetest man on earth, who says I'm his legend - and that is about the main thing keeping me alive right now... furthermore, that is somewhat regrettable.
"I need everybody to recognize what it resembles, that is the reason I'm making this video."
