Worry, like anger, can cause havoc in our lives. It can consume our thoughts, take away our rest even while sleeping, disrupt our relationships, damage our health, and diminish our happiness. Seldom can we change the things that worry us. But we can sure change the way we respond. The Bible's prescription is simple- trust God. Bring God into your situation of worry and fear by means of "prayers and supplication, with thanksgiving." Trust that God knows and cares and will supply what you need in that situation you're dealing with. Do the one important thing- listen to Jesus. In the face of difficulty you have two choices. You can choose to worry or you can choose to trust God and have "the peace of God...to guard your heart and mind."
