  2. I am looking to start a review site sooner but quite confused about making the choice of either writing general reviews on random things or products or just pick a specific niche and focus on it. Which will be more profit oriented?

  15. Niche oriented is better. You need less resources to push one niche, while with random niche you must be aware of so many things simultaneously. Google now ranks websites that are more relevant to user's search.

  17. Yeah I agree with the first OP. Make a niche site about a small niche, and write all ins and outs for the site. That way you can create a brand in that sub-sub-niche which also contributes to rankings and profits.

  22. Depends on the purpose and time you can devote to this. If you have limited time, focus on certain niche otherwise a general blog.

  28. Niche-focused would be quite easier for content creation as well as ranking. There's a higher chance that related articles might rank relentlessly. btw starting a review-oriented site seems like a good idea. GL
