  3. I agree with staying away from all the junk apps out there. Factory resets aren't fun, I'm still tweaking my phone after doing one yesterday for a relatively minor issue. If it still exists then you can go for the after-sale service to check if there are some hardware issues on your Android phone. So, fixing this problem is very much important but before that let us look at a users problem that was asked few days ago related to such error message.
  4. Will be more careful next time. This was started with Android 5. Yet, when I meant to get myself the factory produced power cable and connected my phone to the power socket, it optimizes all my 135 apps, and it takes 10 mins+ to finish the process. I wiped most third party apps from my phone, cleared the cache and the issue seemed to resolve itself, it hadn't restarted in ~2 weeks.
  5. So far the phone has been rock solid since; better battery life, stable cell connection, etc. Maybe it occurs due to inpropper installation of update. Fortunately i was under warranty till May 31st, so for now they agreed to send me a replacement, hopefully that doesnt have the same problems. I tried all the solutions provied in the internet blogs. So glad I kept researching before doing factory reset. I did a factory reset and the problem disappeared. I hope this works for you. Also, I use my Priv a lot so there are plenty of other times when I have to restart it, like after it runs out of battery and I recharge it, or if a program gets stuck and I have to do a restart. The fact that I have a Nexus 6, and most of you others have a Nexus 5 says that it is not only an operating system problem. Do not worry; simply use software to restore lost or deleted data from your android device. I read about a couple of other apps causing this which I don't have.
  6. is App x of With Restarts of the phone 5.1 Verizon - When plugged in, I never get a shutdown. Issue occurred almost immediately during device setup, particularly during restoring software.
  7. Make sure you read the and the before posting. This is why it is recommended you don't use them. Wiki Quick-Links Related Pages Maybe someone can help me here. I tried to update 5. After that, I've been getting this message when I boot. It's somewhat frustrating because it takes ~9 minutes to go through optimizing this 1 app. Has anyone else had this happen before. I wasn't rooted or had a custom recovery installed. My phone has had the bootloader unlocked since the 4. Yes on T-mobile you don't use your data when you use Google play music but if you want to use Google's music subscription you have to pay for it. I did a factory reset and the problem disappeared. I saw what looked like a dead Android icon during the middle of the surprisingly long reset ~30 minutesbut everything has been honky-dory since then. I don't believe I had Rhapsody installed on my phone. Honestly, it's happened to me, and I just ignore it. It takes a second and it's not a big deal so I never got crazy about it. Please do not upgrade to 4. If you are experiencing this issue with an upgrade, please view our help article. We are working with Google to fix this.
