The name of the service I use is called SpamGourmet. You can find it and create a totally free account at https://www.spamgourmet.com/index.pl
The interface is kind of old school, but basically you create an account using your regular email address and then you can create new emails on the fly just by how you set it up. If you don't know what you're doing, they have a "no brainer mode", but I recommend using the "advanced mode" where you can customize the email to your liking. So, for example my regular email is pogue23@gmail.com. But, I set it up so it forwards from a word I choose, followed by a period and then one of the domains they have available. They have a bunch of different domains to choose to forward the email from. So, I can make an email for a site like Spotify for example, and I will call it spotify.pogue23@spamgourmet.com. Spamgourmet automatically will forward you 20 emails from that site and then it will "eat" the rest (hence the name, Spam Gourmet). So, if it's a shady site or they want to constantly send you coupons or notifications you can just let the emails stop after 20. However, you can add the domain to a trusted list and add "spotify.com
" to it and it will allow you to get unlimited emails from that address. Another cool feature is you can choose to allow it to only send a specific number of emails. So, if I only wanted to get 3 emails from spotify and never see another one I could make an email called spotify.3.pogue23@spamgourmet.com. There's lots of other cool features and options and it's totally free, so I use it with a password manager called Roboform. It's an excellent password manager and integrates into all major browsers. So, for every site I sign up with, I use their built in password generator so I have a different email and password for every site I use. I'll go ahead and send you my Roboform referral link if you decide to give it a try. It's around $30 a year and I subscribe through Google Play because I also use it on my phone and it will fill in passwords in apps you use as well, so it's a really great utility. If you sign up through this link I get 6 months of free service.

Roboform is one of the few password manager sites that have never been hacked because they write all their own code for their site and all your passwords are stored both locally on your computer and on the cloud as well. You login with an email and create one single master password for your account and nobody can access your account but you, as all the passwords are encrypted with AES military grade encryption. So, if you lose your master password, nobody can get in, not even Roboform.
Those two things (along with freezing my credit report after that huge Equifax breach happened a couple years ago) keeps me very safe online. I recommend everyone freeze their credit reports. You can now do it for free, just unfreeze it if you need to make a purchase that requires someone look up your credit report. You can find out how to do it here: https://krebsonsecurity.com/2018/09/credit-freezes-are-free-let-the-ice-age-begin/
You can also check your credit report for free from the 3 major credit bureaus once a year at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action
(which is a site run by the FTC).
So, I hope that information helps you. If you want to scare yourself and see if your email address has been involved in any major hacking check out https://haveibeenpwned.com/
and it will let you know if it finds your email address in known breaches. If it has (and most everyone has been), I recommend changing your password (and email with spamgourmet) on those sites.
