  1. Ok so I hope I did this right:
  2. 1. I grew some Reishi and then sliced off some fruitbodies:
  3. 2. At first I had it in my head that I would grate them on a cheese grater and grate them up using the side of the grater that you use for mozzarella when you put it on a pizza, but I soon found out they are too rubbery, wet, and spongey to grate with a grater... so I sliced them up into what I thought were reasonably small slices:
  4. 3. Then I put them in a 2-quart tea kettle that has a strainer in the spout. I actually ended up only using one fruitbody and putting the other two in the freezer because I got tired of slicing it, it was really tough (I used the one on the right in the top picture). Then I filled the tea kettle with 2 quarts of water and boiled them for about an hour (I didn't know how long to do it, and it may have been longer because I forgot about it for a while):
  5. 4. Then I poured it into a mason jar and the tea is this color:
  6. So now I have a few questions:
  7. How much do I drink?
  8. Should I drink it every morning?
  9. Judging by the color of the tea, do I need to dilute it any?
  10. I was thinking of just drinking it warmed up with honey, is there a better way?
