How to get top management support for security projects?

  1. I am facing an issue regarding security projects, for example: last year we bought an antivirus licence for 500 (end point security), and made a policy in order to force everyone to install it, however, at the end of year, we found out that only 50 users were using the antivirus properly.
  2. I have discussed this issue and others regarding digital security, but the top management is not supporting us very well.
  3. I want to get full support from management, but I am confused about the way to do it.

  7. My role: IT Security Manager/Technical
  8. Reporting to: IT Manager, Technical Director, CEO
  9. Is there a role/function dedicated to information security and/or information management ? This is still unclear, and all security projects started when I joined the company.
