  1. Google Maps on Mint
  2. 1st open the terminal, copy and paste those commands, and press enter after each line(if a command requests your password, type it in and press enter)
  3. sudo apt-get update
  4. sudo apt-get install marble git --no-install-recommends
  5. mkdir -p $HOME/.local/share/marble/maps/earth/
  6. cd $HOME/.local/share/marble/maps/earth/
  7. cd maps/earth/
  8. cd .local/share/marble/maps/earth/
  9. git clone git://gitorious.org/marble-restricted-maps/virtualearth.git
  10. Finally, open Marble from the Mint PPC menu, go to the "Map View" tab on the left, and choose "Google Satellite"
  11. For Street View, type in this URL in any browser with Javascript support, for example, Midori, Iceweasel or Iceape for Mint PPC:
