Museu Etnografico da Praia or Praia Ethnographic Museum is another museum situated in Praia, capital city of Cape Verde. This museum was launched back in 1997 and it contains mostly local art and cultural items specific to Cape Verde. The building where the museum resides is ancient – it is a 19th century old Colonial type of architectural design. After a few years, the building had to be renovated along with the museum and it took the organization handling it two years. Right now, it is a tourist attraction in the country.
