The dl/upl speeds are not that great based on speedtest.net, probably because it`s a beta test and people are doing tests on their vps`es as well or installing updates/packages. I`m sure once the giveaway ends, network performance will get better. But hey it is free so we won`t complain that much
The vm itself is pretty fast so far, not sure if it`s cause of the I/O speed since this is my first vm with such I/O performance(I`m more used to 30-50mbps) .
The control panel i can tell is VirtKick (for demo visit https://demo.virtkick.com/) and pretty easy to use. The mobile view is a bit off but i`m sure they`re working on improving it. Os reinstall takes about 5 sec to finish. There`s a java console you can use there to connect to the VM. There are 5 OS choices: Debian, Ubuntu, Centos 6.6/7, Fedora, OpenSUSE.
The vm is stable so far no downtime or unexpected reboots/crashes. I`ll get back to this part in a few days if anything changes.
