Young people in Britain spend more time to play and socialize over the Internet than watching TV, based on an annual survey on the behavior of young people and children to the media.
The staff at research institutions Childwise describing the findings as 'significant changes'.
While among the still watching TV, the internet movie services like Netflix is more popular than conventional TV channels.

The study also found an increase in children who have a computer tablet to 50% compared to last year.
Respondents in the study included 2,000 children aged five to 16 years, whose behavior in watching TV last observed since mid-1900.
The average time spent on the Internet every day to reach three hours, higher than an hour for watching TV with an average of 2.1 hours per day.
Among respondents aged 15 to 16 years, less than a quarter that is usually watching TV while being broadcast and more are watching through on-demand services or YouTube.
Childwise findings can be seen as an early sign of youth and children who move from watching TV to spend time on the internet.
