Bizarre creature killed by two fisherman on the New Jersey River earlier this month. The monster is supposedly a Sea Lamprey,
Sea lampreys are eel-like jaw-less and boneless parasites, boasting mouths full of rasping teeth and a file-like tongue, they latch onto other fish and drain them of bodily fluids.
In American rivers, average size can be anywhere between 2 to 2½ feet long, and up to a maximum of around 3 feet. Mutated Sea Lamprey or something else, as always you decide.
