Bitcoin is a virtual currency created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. It is also the name of the software is made available on an open source project whose goal is to use this currency.
Bitcoin is one of the first attempts to implement the concept called kryptowalutą, which was first described in 1998 by Wei Dai on the mailing list cypherpunks. Founded on the belief that the coin is any object or any provision which may be accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or any socio-economic importance. Bitcoin was created based on the idea of using cryptography to control the creation and transfer of money, rather than relying on a central publisher.
