  1. In 2021, the key raw material of the crisis is not oil but natural gas. Prices have risen in Europe as demand has increased around the world. And the trigger has not been political but a health emergency.
  2. After months of pandemic and halt, production is not recovering at the same rate as demand.
  3. With winter just around the corner, its consequences are already reflected in European electricity bills. There have never been such large, exaggerated increases in the price of electricity in such a short period.
  4. When there is a rise in energy prices, really, the countries most affected are those that logically use it the most, so that industrial societies are strongly convulsed.
  5. As it happened in 1973, in 2021, Spain is part of the group of countries highly dependent on fossil fuel exports.
