  3. From the light that God has given me, I know that His cause
  4. today is in great need of the living representative of Bible truth.
  5. The ordained ministers, alone, are not equal to the task. God is
  6. calling Bible workers, and other consecrated laymen of varied talent
  7. who have a knowledge of present truth, to consider the needs of the
  8. unwarned cities. There should be one hundred believers actively
  9. engaged in personal missionary work where now there is but one.
  10. Time is rapidly passing. There is much work to be done before
  11. satanic opposition shall close up the way. Every agency must be set
  12. in operation, that present opportunities may be wisely improved.—

  14. Companies of Workers
  15. During the night of February 27 (1910), a representation was
  16. given me in which the unworked cities were presented before me
  17. [14] as a living reality, and I was plainly instructed that there should be
  18. a decided change from past methods of working. For months the
  19. situation has been impressed on my mind, and I urged that companies
  20. be organized and diligently trained to labor in our important cities.
  21. These workers should labor two and two, and from time to time all
  22. should meet together to relate their experiences, to pray and to plan
  23. how to reach the people quickly, and thus, if possible, redeem the
  24. time.—Manuscript 21, 1910.
  25. The importance of making our way in the great cities is still
  26. kept before me. For many years the Lord has been urging upon us
  27. this duty, and yet we see but comparatively little accomplished in
  28. our great centers of population. If we do not take up this work in a
  29. determined manner, Satan will multiply difficulties which will not
