  2. Recently I saw an offer from Hiformance (2 cores, 4 gb for only 12$). I want to experiment with vps, I know 12$ may be a small money but I don't want to waste it. So anyone has any advice? Should I buy it or not?

  29. Since it sounds like all you want to do on it is experiment with it why not try it out? Since you won't be running any actual sites on it I'm assuming, that sounds like a deal just to test the water with. What are you planning on doing with it? Are you testing something specific?

  33. I was on hiformance for a few months and it was fine for what I was doing (email server), but yesterday port 25 has been disabled both in and out of my server. I had to scramble to find another host and rebuild my VPS there.

  54. Then probably not very reliable. I'd guess that is either a very crowded service or a crazy introductory offer that's not sustainable. But for 12$, if you can spare it, give it a go if you like.

  60. Omg this seems to be the deal of the century! 4gb ram vps at that price is pretty impossible. I would recommend you to stay away from such deals.
  62. I would suggest "deal" is potentially more of a "scam" here. That's not even realistic.
