Essentially, it is the place of the highest elevation in the country’s capital, Addis Abba. It stands 3200 meter above the sea level. This mountain is considered sacred, as many temples of worship have been built on it. You will experience the “Lung of Addis Abba” when you go here and see numerous Eucalyptus trees. These trees, however, were all from Australia. The Emperor who founded the capital imported it to the place which added to the value of the peak. There is a science center at the peak of the mountain, as well.
