  8. Mufon Metroplex presents "The Philadelphia Experiment"
  9. by Al Bielek
  10. on Saturday, January 13, 1990
  11. in Dallas, Texas
  12. The Philadelphia Experiment (U.S. Government designation
  13. "Project Rainbow") had its origin in a feasibility study
  14. started in the early 1930's at the University of Chicago
  15. (1931) and later moved to Princeton's Institute of Advanced
  16. Studies. Involved in the Program at various times were
  17. renowned scientists that included Dr. Albert Einstein, Dr.
  18. John von Neumann, Dr. Nikola Tesla, and others.
  19. Originally a theoretical study in methods to produce an
  20. "invisibility screen", the first fully successful test in
  21. 1940 converted the program to a military project : "Project
  22. Rainbow".
  23. As a military (Navy) program, a volunteer crew had to be
  24. trained and a ship selected - the Eldridge (DE 173).
  25. Equipment had to be ordered, built, and installed for
  26. seaborne tests. Sea trials were conducted outside of
  27. Philadelphia, in the Delaware Bay area.
  28. First tests were in July, 1943 with serious personnel
  29. problems resulting. The final test - 12 August 1943 - was an
  30. utter disaster to ship and crew : the ship survived after its
  31. return to normal time and location in the Philadelphia
  32. harbor.
  33. The U.S. Navy continues to deny to this day that this project
  34. ever took place : or that it was coupled through hyperspace
  35. to another project in the future (1983).
  36. The expectations for the project and the nature of the
  37. problems with the crew will be developed and discussed, as
  38. well as why the "human equation" failed. A review of prior
  39. publications attempting to expose this project will also be
  40. discussed.
  41. The lecturer, Alfred D. Bielek, was born in August 1916 as
  42. Edward A. Cameron, son of Alexander D. Cameron, Sr. He
  43. attended several Universities, graduating with a Ph D. in
  44. Physics (1939). Enlisting in the Navy along with his
  45. brother, they eventually became directly involved in the
  46. "Philadelphia Experiment". The story of how he - Edward
  47. Cameron - was eventually removed form the project and became
  48. Alfred D. Bielek is a bizarre story of government
  49. brainwashing and manipulation, and destruction of a career.
  50. The story of his brother is still more bizarre as well as
  51. tragic.
  52. Page 1
  53. Mr. Bielek is today a retired electronics engineer with 30
  54. years of a consulting career behind him.
  55. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  56. The following is a Vangard Sciences commentary by Jerry W. Decker
  57. and is based on personal studies in a variety of subjects
  58. including the "Philadelphia Experminent"
  59. and attendance of the lecture
  60. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  61. Mr. Bielek is a most engaging speaker. He presents a wide range
  62. of popular references during his talks and weaves quite a web.
  63. However, the information available prior to the 1983 movie, "The
  64. Philadelphia Experiment" does not concern the prospect of time
  65. transport.
  66. The stated focus of the "Philadelphia Experiment" project was to
  67. "achieve radar invisibility". Mr. Bielek states that his
  68. "memories began coming back AFTER seeing the movie in 1988."
  69. I got the impression that he incorporates new topics into his
  70. storyline as fast as he hears them, claiming that his "memory
  71. suddenly came back on that."
  72. Another major flaw was the statement that Nikola Tesla was in
  73. association with and in charge of the project. This is highly
  74. incredible since the experiment occurred in July, 43' and Tesla
  75. died on January 7, 1943 in New York City.
  76. Yet another reference which is difficult to believe is that
  77. Gustave LeBon was a consultant and worked with Tesla and Einstein
  78. on the project.
  79. Bielek says that Thorn EMI, producer of the film, "The
  80. Philadelphia Experiment" was banned from showing it in September
  81. 1983. He later says it was given a limited showing in the USA.
  82. Thorn Instruments, an old English manufacturer of labware from the
  83. early 1800's bought into EMI and had in their archives a story of
  84. a disappearing ship with a picture of the "time traveller" who
  85. brought it to them.
  86. In the picture were the Wilson brothers of Thorn, Aleister Crowley
  87. (infamous occultist) and a 4th person who was Preston Nickles.
  88. This "traveller" said to be Peter Nickles is a past president of
  89. the USPA (United States Psychotronic Association) and was
  90. supposedly in the picture taken in 1890. Supposedly Mr. Nickles
  91. was shown the picture by a Thorn/EMI representative (Chief
  92. Archivist). It showed him about 10 years older than now, 1989.
  93. They would not let Nickles copy the picture. Bielek says Crowley
  94. said that Nickles was a man out of the future and gave them the
  95. story of the disappearing ship.
  96. Alan Batchelor? is said to be another survivor of the experiment.
  97. Page 2
  98. Project Rainbow was said to be the original name of the project,
  99. later changed to Project Phoenix. It took four hours for the
  100. disappearance from Philadelphia to return.
  101. Bielek also said EBE-1 (extra-terrestrial biological entity #1)
  102. gave the secret of the transistor to the government, (no time
  103. frame). (Of course, we all know the germanium transistor was
  104. invented by Thomas Henry Moray and stolen by Bell Labs)
  105. Bielek says his brother time travelled to 1983, lost his "time
  106. lock", aged about 1 year per hour and died shortly thereafter. He
  107. then said his brother was later reborn. (I don't pretend to
  108. understand this.)
  109. Supposedly every 20 years on the 12th of August, the magnetic
  110. energy peaks, i.e. 1943-1963-1983 to allow a synchronicity.
  111. Linking and coupling to the surge would cause a shift, (again
  112. confusing).
  113. Dr. Von Neumann (of computer fame) was supposedly involved in the
  114. "Philadelphia Experiment" with Tesla, Einstein and LeBon. Bielek
  115. says he is recorded to have died in 1953 or 1957.
  116. In Phoenix, 1986, Bielek's memories recalled a site in Montauk
  117. which might be where Von Neumann currently resides in obscurity.
  118. In January 1988, Bielek's memories of the "Philadelphia
  119. Experiment" were recalled.
  120. Another major discrepancy, records indicate the original manned
  121. experiment occurred on October 28, 1943, NOT the 12th August,
  122. 1943.
  123. Despite the irregularities, there were some interesting comments
  124. made in regard to time.
  125. The two most outstanding things about the public lecture was the
  126. showing of a slide purported to be a "Zero Time Reference
  127. Generator" which looks strangely similar to an old Army field
  128. kitchen refrigeration unit. No technical details were given or
  129. offered.
  130. This device was purported to be the oscillator which drove the
  131. coils of the experiment. Mr. Bielek claimed that the unit shown
  132. was used to synchronize two separate signals (one for each coil).
  133. The literature of the "Philadelphia Experiment" is replete with
  134. descriptions of the technology. Further findings by our group
  135. and associates indicate a more "coherent" approach.
  136. Basically, a coil was wound on each half of the ship and driven by
  137. separate oscillators, synced with an adjustable phase angle to
  138. create a "Scalar-type wave". This distorted the field matrices of
  139. matter encompassed within the field for "unusual effects".
  140. Keely was more than familiar with this field of compound
  141. vibrations and their applications, HELL, HE PRECEDED ALL OTHERS.
  142. Page 3
  143. The other interesting comment was about a Professor of Mathematics
  144. at the University of Wisconsin in the 30's. His name - Henry
  145. Levenson. He specialized in time studies and developed a time
  146. variant equation.
  147. Mr. Levenson co-authored 2 books and wrote 1. None of these books
  148. are available (of course) but Bielek indicates they might be
  149. available in restricted or private libraries such as Princeton.
  150. The time comments centered around a concept involving a TIME LOCK
  151. which was "encoded" at the time of creation of all matter, living
  152. or otherwise. Thus, all matter created on the Earth, must be
  153. "clocked" to the Earth time lock. The Earth must be "clocked" to
  154. the Solar time lock and that to the Galaxial.
  155. If your time lock became "distorted" by high intensity fields, it
  156. would create a variety of problems due to the instability of the
  157. recovery process, assuming that recovery could be possible.
  158. Bielek claimed that the original system was powered with a 500 KW
  159. generator, later increased to 2 MegaWatt. Another experiment was
  160. supposed to have been done with 3 field coils, all synced to the
  161. same clocking system.
  162. The 3 field design created major arcing and caused a return to the
  163. 2 field design. Bielek also claims that there were 3000 tubes
  164. used in the system.
  165. If you get the chance to hear Mr. Bielek, I do recommend it if
  166. only for entertainment. However, if you want useable data, stick
  167. to books periodicals and your own research.
  168. The time theories espoused by Bielek seem particularly worthy of
  169. study. Much of the "Scalar" craze indicates a technology which
  170. could duplicate or surpass the original "Philadelphia Experiment".
  171. Just for grins, I will state my own conclusion and theory on the
  172. subject. I base it on UFO phenomena, the work of Dr. Harold S.
  173. Burr, Dr. Walter Russell, W. J. Hooper and personal observations.
  174. If the original purpose was "invisibility" as stated in various
  175. articles and commentaries, then why did a SHIP wind up in a HARBOR
  176. FILLED WITH WATER and NOT in the middle of a city street or a
  177. wheat field in Kansas.
  178. Seems that something is amiss as other accounts of the experiment
  179. state it was not carried out once but several times. Each time,
  180. the ship "teleported" to a watery target. What are the chances
  181. that EVERY TIME the ship would "land" in water??
  182. As I understand it, partially based on this quote from our file
  183. PHILAD1.ZIP:
  184. The U.S. Navy, for one, seemed obsessed with the idea of
  185. the perfect camouflage - the ultimate secret weapon -
  186. INVISIBILITY. If only one of their warships could be made
  187. invisible, think of the havoc it could cause the enemy.
  188. Havoc that could conceivably bring the bitter and long-
  189. enduring war to an end.
  190. Page 4
  191. On October 28, 1943, an experiment was conducted at the
  192. Philadelphia Navy Yard. This event, appropriately enough,
  193. became known as "The Philadelphia Experiment".
  194. A Navy escort destroyer named the DE 173 (better known as
  195. the U.S.S. Eldridge), with hundreds of tons of electronic
  196. equipment aboard, lay in its dock. Scientists on shore
  197. started the experiment which involved Dr. Albert Einstein's
  198. "Unified Field Theory", a completed version appearing in the
  199. period 1925-27. "Withdrawn" as incomplete, the revised
  200. theory returned in 1940. The result of the experiment was
  201. brain-rattling!
  202. The ship faded rapidly from sight in a foggy, green
  203. mist - and COMPLETELY VANISHED! Speechless amazement
  204. struck the wide-eyed scientists ashore.
  205. Then, after a few minutes (another account makes that
  206. "seconds"), the ship reappeared where it had formerly
  207. been, to its Philadelphia dock, and regained its visibility!
  208. But that was not all. Something equally stunning was
  209. discovered to have happened during its vanishment.
  210. --> During that period of a few minutes (or seconds) the ship had
  211. --> shown up at its other Norfolk Navy Yard dock in Virginia!
  212. --> So, not only had it successfully become invisible, but it had
  213. --> also been TELEPORTED!
  214. Notice the arrows and how the ship went to its OTHER DOCK but in
  215. Virginia, not the one in Philadelphia.
  216. Since we live in a serial time which clocks our every action and
  217. records it on the surrounding space continuum. Our presence at
  218. in any space at a given timeframe is captured by local
  219. space/matter conditions so that the moving of the earth and our
  220. solar system in its orbit would not leave us in space were we to
  221. teleport.
  222. So we have slices of wherever we have been since our creation. We
  223. should be able to step back into any given slice, not in time,
  224. only in space.
  225. Another condition of this concept is that the PRESENT represents a
  226. suction which maintains matter as a balloon in the "holographic
  227. image" of a mass in a single time frame and in a specific spatial
  228. location. Remember that this is in the PRESENT ONLY.
  229. Since the Eldridge had a history of having been at its OTHER DOCK
  230. SOMETIME IN THE PAST and probably on several occasions, then if we
  231. could distort the tempic (time) field enough, we could momentarily
  232. teleport the ship NOT THROUGH TIME BUT THROUGH SPACE to a place IT
  233. HAD BEEN BEFORE.
  234. Now, if during that act and BEFORE COMPLETE TRANSFER WAS
  235. ACCOMPLISHED, someone cut the power, the portions of matter which
  236. had teleported would be "sucked" back like a vacuum to the source,
  237. i.e. the original spatial location of the PRESENT.
  238. Page 5
  239. Think of it as two balloons. A full one in Philadelphia
  240. represents the Eldridge. At the port in Virginia, an empty
  241. balloon represents the holographic image (with no matter) and of
  242. a SPATIAL image sometime in the past.
  243. (Of course, for each timeframe past, an empty holographic image
  244. balloon lies there recording the passage through time of each
  245. object, just like a frame of a comic strip)
  246. If we slowly squeeze the full balloon (representing the Eldridge
  247. at the Philadelphia port in the original or PRESENT location), a
  248. connecting tube to the Virginia port allows the passage of
  249. "matter" into the empty Eldridge.
  250. We get to a point where the source is 1/4 empty and the target is
  251. 3/4 full.
  252. IF at this point, someone RELEASES THE PRESSURE, what happens?
  253. The "teleported matter" will surge back into the ORIGINAL SPATIAL
  254. location which exerts a vacuum to keep its balloon full.
  255. Of course, once the transfer is complete, the suction then takes
  256. place from the target spatial location.
  257. Since the pressure (high intensity pulsing magnetic waves) was
  258. released before the transfer was complete, the resulting surges
  259. created massive distortions in all mass encompassed by the field.
  260. Living organisms record field effects in their tissues.
  261. Therefore, all tissure formations which took place during the
  262. surge, recorded the surges to "haunt" the victims. This
  263. apparently distorts the Bio-plasmic field also to cause major
  264. physical problems.
  265. This is probably damnably confusing, but I can't do pictures with
  266. this word processor, so words must suffice.
  267. ------------------------------------------------------------------

  269. sufficient interest to get to this point.
