The Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Kenya. It was previously called as Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve and can be located at Kajiado County, Kenya. It became a game reserve as early as 1906 and has been a national park by 1974. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the national park each year and it is being managed by three organizations – Kenya Wildlife Services, Olkejuado County Council and the Maasai Community. (Some Maasai people live within the park.)
