Russia caught up with Sierra Leone in terms of corruption
Transparency International notes that in Russia, as well as some other former Soviet republics, the authorities clamped civil society and the media
Russia took the 119th place in the "Corruption Perceptions Index" to share it with Azerbaijan, Guyana and Sierra Leone.
The annual ranking is compiled human rights organization Transparency International, which is assessing the situation with corruption.
Somewhat better situation in Belarus, which happened on the 107th place, while, for example, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took only 123 in the rating
