Current odds to receive a given reward (or lack thereof) on any given play are as follows:
note: all amounts (excepting the Bet - 1 and losing draw) have a jackpot addition factored out, as such these formulas are an approximation
Nothing! = 40%
(Bet - 1) = 43%
(Bet * 1.5) = 49%
(Bet * 2) = 26%
(Bet * 3) = 13%
Jackpot! = 1%
Jackpot Information:
The jackpot is incremented at a rate of ((Bet * .0329) + 1), rounded down to the nearest integer. This means that the larger the bet you make, the faster the jackpot will fill.
Future plans for implementation:
- Jackpot odds scaleability = This is a feature I've been working on and testing that will cause the jackpot to become more and more likely to be won, the larger and larger the amount gets. This will hopefully lead to larger jackpots (As lower amounts will be less likely to be won), as well as a bit more tenseness to the room as the amount counts up.
- More phrases for winning/losing = This is quite self explanatory, mainly because everybody likes to see more variety, currently a winning draw can have over 100 color+adjective combinations, and more will be more fun I think
- A demo function = A command !demo which will simulate an actual play, this one is quite far off as it would require me to overhaul a lot of code, since the odds are calculated and generated the instant a tip is given, without referencing another function (though this is admittedly a really sloppy way to code and should be fixed anyway)
- Jackpot Highscores = Likely would be implemented along with a scaleable jackpot. This would list the top ten largest jackpots and the name of the user who won them
