Liverpool defeated Toulouse 5-1 in their first Europa League group stage match on October 26, 2023 at Anfield.

The victory put Liverpool top of Group E with three points from their opening match.
The match was a dominant performance by Liverpool, who were clinical in front of goal and controlled the game from start to finish. Nunez was particularly impressive, scoring three goals and creating several other chances.
