EA have finally seen sense and decided to get rid of the Online Pass feature found in many of their video games. The Online Pass was designed to allow gamers full access to downloadable content, but many games were virtually unplayable without the unique Online Pass code provided by EA. This meant that gamers who bought second-hand games would then have to pay out again by purchasing an Online Pass code from EA, just to be able to play them properly. After a huge backlash from the gaming community EA have stated that none of their future titles will include the Online Pass feature - a victory for common sense.
