  1. Quora Partner Program Guide
  2. I've been a part of the Quora Partner Program for almost a year now, and have asked a couple of thousand questions (manually). It definitely is not a program to jump into if you suddenly think you will make lots of money using your internet marketing knowledge, although I am sure someone could.

  14. But to get started, this isn't a guide of "how to get on the Quora Partner Program" - it is more of a guide for how to ask effective questions on Quora that will help you earn more money on the platform.
  15. To get on the Quora Partner Program, you can be invited by anyone who is part of the Partner Program, but you also have to meet certain criteria as well.
  16. Anyway, happy questioning.
  17. EARNING MONEY THROUGH THE QUORA PARTNER PROGRAM
  18. Congratulations if you were accepted into the Partner Program as it is one of the internets foremost FREE ways to make money on the internet. Unlike other ways to make money online where you may need to build a website, invest in advertising, or experience using a new product you want to sell, the Quora Partner Program is a free way that you can simply ask questions on their platform and earn money from home (or wherever you choose to ask questions from).
  19. And these are my 18 secrets to ask questions people want to know.
  20. I have asked thousands of questions on Quora, and when I feel stuck, I find there is always something else I can generate questions about. However, there are a few major challenges with Quora. You can only earn money on questions that are not “similar” to others. And the questions have to bring attention from either internal (on Quora) or external (outside of Quora). More information is explained on their website: https://quorapartners.quora.com/
  21. When you first get started it can feel complicated and difficult but asking questions will become easier. Here are the challenges to be aware of. First, it might seem like most of the popular and obvious questions are taken. But the secrets below will explain how you can work around that. Second, it is easy to quit before you see results. The Quora Partner Program is not a get rich quick scheme, and to make money from it, you have to know a bit about how people 4 search, and how the platform advertises. And third, you cannot “repeat similar questions” and still make money.
  22. So now you know the challenges. Let’s get started with the secrets, shall we?
  23. 1. Personal Expertise
  24. It might feel like sometimes it is difficult to come up with a new question, and sooner or later it will feel even more difficult, which is why you will want to get started as soon as possible. The best way to do that is to start asking questions about things you already know! You are not just asking questions for your sake, but you are asking questions that may help others. For example, if you are a fan of collecting miniature Christmas figurines, you can start asking questions based on what you already know about miniature Christmas figurines.
  25. Think about what a novice collector might ask. What is the best way to care for a figurine? How do you store them? What chemicals to clean them safely? What companies sell the highest quality ones? What is your collection like?
  26. Imagine you are talking about Christmas figurines to someone and start to think about the questions for everything you talk about. This secret will work whether your expertise is about software, hardware, technology, history, dogs, cats, management training, cooking, cleaning, reading, and the list is endless.
  27. What do you know a lot about?
  28. 2. Learning
  29. Ask questions about the topics you want to learn. The challenge with this is that obvious topic and even some lesser-known topics may already have the obvious questions. For example, painting glass may be a small niche that you want to learn about. It isn’t as popular as video gaming, but it is still somewhat plausible that there is an audience for it.
  30. Pick your topic, then ask questions about it. How do you get started painting glass? Who are the famous glass painters? What are the best glass painting classes? And keep digging down. The challenge is that, again, the first ones you think of may already be taken, so you need to have that internal conversation with yourself.
  31. As you ask these questions, you might even find yourself going down a different road of questions. But the things you can learn are endless, even if your desire to learn them is not. Have a passion for learning and the Quora Partner Program should be fun. Also by having this desire to learn and ask more questions, you will start to gain insight on what other questions people might want to know answers to. At least that happened to me.
  32. 3. Annual Questions
  33. There are some questions that you can ask by the year. However, there is a chance Quora might flag some of these as too similar. Fortunately, the year’s always come around. One of my most popular and profitable questions was asking about popular ideas in the upcoming year.
  34. More specifically, this requires an understanding of trends. This requires that the topic may change every year, for example, the popularity of specific technology, new authors, popular television shows, sports, or cars. By defining specifically that you are asking a question for an upcoming year, you can ask new popular questions, every year, assuming someone does not take your idea.
  35. So you know the subjects, but what is it that people want to know? They want to know how the yearly trends will affect them. How will your favorite sports team do coming up? Which movies were the most popular in (of course you would add a specific year like 2023 or 2010)? What are some popular fashion for women in this upcoming year ? Which are the best wines being made in ?
  36. Timing these questions right will be the difficult part especially as more people join the Quora Partner Program.
  37. 4. What People Desire Search Engines.
  38. Where do people go to ask questions? They use search engines. People use the internet to find solutions to problems, or entertainment, or ideas. Just take a second to think of all the questions you ask related to computer problems, relationship advice, book suggestions, celebrity and sports news, or more. And here is how to make the use of this knowledge.
  39. Ask questions as closely to what someone would search for as you can think of. What is the best book to learn sewing? How do you tie a slip knot? How do you tie a tie?
  40. Now there is a catch. Those questions are already asked, so yes, you will need to dig deeper using all of the other secrets found on this list. However, here is one last top-secret tip.
  41. Search engines already tell you what people are searching! When you type in a question to any search engine, they often come up with predictions based on what people searched in the past, and often what people still search for. You can then enter those predicted questions into Quora. This can organically make your Quora question a top searched question, and bring in external views.
  42. But again, a lot of the obvious questions have already been asked, even using this method. You will often have to dig deeper. Instead of just asking “how do you make money online,” a very popular question that may be predicted, you may need to ask “How do you make money online in 2025 with Facebook?”
  43. One final tactic with this technique is to use the alphabet and go through the search engine lists. “How do you a,” then look at the predictions and go from there. It may come up with “How do you ask,” “how do you apply,” “how do you attend?” Then you can type in one of those completed words, and it will come up with more options, and you can build from there. There are many combinations of questions you can ask for all sorts of topics.
  44. 5. Services, Brands, and Products
  45. Pick a service, brand, or product, and just start asking questions about them. Ask how to provide the service, who the best brands are, what brands will be popular in the future, how they started, how they evolved, and even why some products failed while their competitors succeeded.
  46. You can make this a learning experience or just a way to earn more on the Quora Partner Program. You can pick your favorite brand or even lesser known brands. You can have your own opinion on a product, then flip it into a question with which to ask others. You can learn the specs of a product or brand, and ask questions on the specs you already know. Have fun with this secret.
  47. 6. Psychological, Philosophical
  48. People have all sorts of technical questions such as “how do computers work?” Or “how do I adjust the ‘heading’ setting in Microsoft Word?” But people also have many questions about themselves and their experiences.
  49. Maybe they want to connect with someone else who shares the same views. Maybe they want to know how to improve their life. Maybe they want to overcome some personal challenges they had with self-esteem. Maybe they want to consider some new perspectives in life after an experience. This category of secret questions requires some reflection. While ideas for them might be found around the other secrets on this list, you might want to do some reflection yourself.
  50. Ask yourself these questions to help you come up with questions in this secret area of Psychological and Philosophical. What are your insecurities? What are your strengths? How did you come to find your weaknesses? Which leaders were stoics? Do you more easily read news about violence or cats? How attractive are you? Are you a hard worker or do you just get by?
  51. Again, these questions are not meant to make you rethink your whole life. The idea is to get yourself in an understanding of questions people might have about themselves, their thoughts, and their actions or behaviors, and the 10 influences on them. Psychology and Philosophy are hugely important topics, and understanding them may help you generate more questions.
  52. 7. Worries
  53. There is a technical side to asking good questions and a more psychological side. People often have problems and worries they are working through. They want solutions to things they are concerned about in the future. They might be concerned about how their relationship is progressing, or how their boss perceives their work. However, it is not easy for everyone to publicly ask questions such as “why would my boyfriend want the code to access my phone?” Or “I think my girlfriend went through my emails, how do I confront her about it?”
  54. Scenarios like these are not always very upfront. People might also worry about legal ramifications of their actions and want to ask questions such as “if someone hypothetically steals a car, but returns it in better condition, could they still get arrested?” Or “can you get into a lot of trouble for smoking a cigarette in American bars (something a tourist might ask)?” The challenge for you is to combine all of these secrets and come up with the lesser known helpful questions.
  55. 8. The Small Stuff
  56. They say we don’t know what we don’t know. For the Quora Partner Program, the quote might be like “we don’t know what other people don’t know.” Something as simple as “how to turn on GPS” on my phone could yield a dozen questions because there are dozens of types of mobile phones out there and all of them might have someone who wants to know how to turn on the GPS.
  57. You might think this is easy and self-explanatory if you are technically savvy, but we are talking about the large numbers of people who are searching to solve their problems. We are all different and take some of our knowledge for granted. What is easy for one person is an enigma for another. A technical computer genius may have no idea how to develop a speech for an audience, while a famous speaker might not know how to format a paper on Microsoft Word. Embrace the differences, accept that people have all sorts of levels of knowledge, and prosper.
  58. Expanding on this advice, GPS might seem obvious and is most likely taken. You can go even narrower with things like technology. You can ask troubleshooting questions on just about every mobile device or app.
  59. Ask questions about what the different symbols on a mobile app mean, or how to do something simple like change a filter. While this tactic is pretty popular, just remember that there are all sorts of popular mobile apps and technologies that still need questions.
  60. Maybe you know more about a piece of laboratory equipment or IT hardware. Try explaining the instructions on how to use it and all the pieces to someone who is just beginning to use the same equipment. Think “what does this button do?” “How do I make this faster or slower?” “What happens if you forget to plug a cable in?” Interestingly, I think these types of questions about things we know that we might take for granted, might on average be some of the ones that get the most external traffic. I mean how many people do you think have troubles with Microsoft Excel? Or how many times have you had formatting issues you wanted to fix on Microsoft Word?
  61. 9. Try Wide and Try Narrow
  62. Some topics are so massive that it would be incredibly time-consuming for even a few hundred or thousand people to ask all the possible combinations of questions on a topic. This can include video games, books, movies, history, scientific theory, and more. By taking a wide net, you can explore ideas around questions generally such as “what books are popular in the wine industry?” Or “which historical events changed American history?” But the obvious ones might already be taken, so you can start to narrow down from there.
  63. Taking a massive category like video games, you can break video games into titles, franchises, characters, skills, missions, side quests, history, and more. And these combinations are endless. From there you simply narrow it down more and more and combine them. Characters + skills, side quests + franchises, characters + characters, and etc…
  64. You can use this technique for hobbies, industries, skills, technologies, and more.
  65. 10. Other People’s Questions
  66. Step into the shoes of someone else. Imagine wanting to learn about a new subject, or even pretend to be an expert on another subject. If you are an artist, and you are bored of asking art questions, try stepping into the mind of a businessperson.
  67. What does a businessperson want to know? The obvious questions are “how to create an LLC?” “I want to open a restaurant, should you open an S Corp or LLC?” “Is 2021 a good time to start a fashion clothing brand?” Now, these might be asked already. But combine this with the other secrets on this list, and you can start rolling with the questions.
  68. You can also seek out the questions people ask from all over the internet. Don’t bother trying to ask the questions other people are asking on Quora (unless you are building on top of them). However, you may find a question looking through other platforms or forums that you do not see on Quora.
  69. Figure out what other people are asking for around the world. Do this by considering new trends and how they affect people. Pretend you are in a job and imagine what you would ask a mentor.
  70. All of this is slightly different than the secrets on your expertise or learning because this will put you in a different state of mind, and can help open up a new way of asking questions or thinking. You can then possibly reapply the new question ideas to secrets 1 and two because you will be able to approach them differently.
  71. 11. Controversial
  72. Religion, sex, politics.I am sure there are more, but those are the three major controversial topics. While sex is a monitored and limited topic on Quora, other controversial topics may not be. I do not suggest criticizing, defaming, or being offensive. I repeat DO NOT be offensive and hurtful of others. BE RESPECTFUL when it comes to controversy. You could get in trouble for asking disrespectful questions, but that should not be the only reason you are respectful.
  73. Ask sincere questions if you have them - about politics, religion, and anything else you think might spark attention. Use the news to guide you. The news is great at providing great new questions to ask every day that is also controversial, but without being offensive, rude, or unprofessional.
  74. By using popular headlines from the news, you can know what is popular right now and start questions about them. And ideally, if your question is the right one, it will also be related to what other people want to know about a specific controversy. News headlines will also talk about what might get them the most attention because that is their job, so make use of journalists as your FREE TIP for your next question.
  75. 12. Expanding Outside of Quora
  76. Quora favors questions that bring in viewers from outside. You can tell what kind of questions will bring viewers from outside because Quora not only tells you on your dashboard, but also because people usually go externally to Quora through some link, and to find the link, they have to search for something or see the question somewhere, and it interests them. This can either happen by sharing on social media, posting the question on a website, or organically appearing on a search.
  77. So the secret is simple, get your questions outside of Quora! Open up a Twitter account and share your questions and add hashtags. Share your best questions 16 with your friends. Find a website to share the questions, or even make your website to share your questions. Not only does this help to grow your Quora earnings, but you can also grow your social media following as well. If you ask relevant questions, and interesting questions, Twitter and LinkedIn users may follow you out of curiosity.
  78. 13. Location, Location, Location
  79. This is a pretty easy one. There are over 4,000 cities in the world with a population of over 150,000 people. And people love to travel.
  80. You can make a list of questions to ask about cities, get a list of lesser-known cities (if you make the sometimes false assumption that the big cities will already have similar questions), and simply start asking the questions about every city on your list. What is the best place to eat? What is a romantic secret location? What is the main language?
  81. How do the locals accept foreigners? What is it like there during the winter? What is it like there during the summer? What is the highest point? The lowest point? This question alone has over 32,000 question ideas! (4000 cities * 8 questions for each city).
  82. 14. Fun Facts
  83. The great thing about fun facts is they are usually not popular known knowledge, and you can find them en masse. Just search “fun facts about ” and you might find all sorts of great facts about the said subject, idea, business, person, or what have you.
  84. They will often come in huge lists too. And although not everyone asks for the specific fun facts about your favorite brand, because the lists are long, you can ask simple, straight forward questions about each fun fact on the list. For example (this is completely made up including the name of the person), you searched for “fun facts about Donatello Marnijello Jr. III” and the search engine comes up with “73 fun facts about Donatello Marnijello Jr. III.”
  85. Once you get on that list, the first two fun facts are “he had the nickname Mathematica” because he was good at math, and “he was born in India to French parents.” From there you would ask the question “What was Donatello Marnijello Jr. III nickname in school?” “If Donatello Marnijello Jr. III was born in India; how did he learn to speak French?”
  86. 15. Hypotheticals
  87. These scenarios are also possibly endless, but may not draw many external views because people might search for a popular question such as “what would the world be like if dinosaurs still existed?”
  88. But they might not search for something interesting such as “what would happen if the moon was broken apart piece by piece and brought back to Earth?” The questions could dig into just about every “what if” event in history, and the future. These could be based on current technologies and more. Sometimes these questions can be popular, and get interesting answers, and other times, people might ask why you even make questions like these. But as a Quora Partner, your mission is to ask effective questions!
  89. Questions like these still have potential because it might be a fun question to engage internally. But again, these types of hypotheticals, albeit fun, may not be the most profitable. Also, some of them might not even get any answers simply because they are too hypothetical and are more “creative writing” questions as opposed to questions that might truly be of value to scientists or researchers.
  90. 16. Relationships
  91. People crave relationships. As social animals, we love being in relationships. Being connected, feeling loved, and love is a part of human nature. It is a deep-rooted part of life. Relationships can be complex. People are complex, and people often use the internet to get relationship advice.
  92. The advice might be directly related to family, friends, romantic, or even professional relationships. Know the difference. For questions related to relationships, you want to think of the broad topic of relationships and ask questions as if you were the person who is in one, or wants one, may have. These questions are not likely to be very broad. The questions may even be tied to methods of dating such as popular dating apps, or specific advice, or questions to gain more understanding about what is happening in a relationship.
  93. Think of the questions you have had in relationships about yourself and the other person, and get comfortable asking those questions. After all, your role in the partner programs is to ask questions that might help others. Depending on how comfortable you are, getting personal may also be able to help someone else.
  94. 17. Your Passion
  95. You’ve heard about making money from something you are passionate about, here is your chance. Sure you may not be “passionate” about sitting at a desk all day asking questions. But you can ask questions about topics you are passionate about. The broader your passion, the better.
  96. When your passion is narrow like bricklaying, you may quickly find that you run out of questions to ask, even if you knew everything about bricklaying. I would argue that you can probably always find one more, but again it is a narrow topic. However, you could go broader into the topic of construction or building design.
  97. By asking questions about your passions, you will have fun while asking questions, make money, and learn at the same time! This is more than just our “personal experience” secret. It might be easier for you to ask questions about your passion than it is about something you are an expert in because when you are an expert, you might not recognize the low-hanging fruit questions that are “obvious to you” but new or complicated to someone else.
  98. If you want to take this another step, start with topics you are passionate about during a question asking session, and let that energy fuel more questions on another topic. If you start with a low interest in your time set aside to ask questions, you may keep that low interest and quickly stop.
  99. 18. The MASTER SECRET
  100. This MASTER SECRET is more of a philosophy that will help you anywhere. Learn what people desire and ask questions based on that. Here is a simple list of some things people desire. People want wealth, happiness, friendship, material objects, health, fun experiences, spiritual growth, and more.
  101. People also want to avoid traffic, avoid being embarrassed, avoid being stuck in their careers, and more… They also want more time, freedom, and success. I would focus more on what people desire, but knowing what they do not want may also be helpful. Knowing these ideas, start to come up with questions that you may ask if you wanted wealth. “How do I make more money?” “How can I ask my boss for more money?” Or with health: “where can I eat healthier foods?” “How much do I have to exercise to lose 10 pounds?” “What are the best gyms in Manhattan?” Or with friendship: “how do I improve my friendships?” “I still have friends from childhood; how do I get them to stop calling me a nickname?”
  102. Knowing what people desire may not yield direct questions to ask, but it may provide a guide to help you recognize ways to ask powerful questions that are more difficult to come up with that are less than obvious because it is easy to search and think about what is popular or scour a search engine for popular 22 ideas. It is more difficult to potentially uncover what it is people are looking for.
  103. Although the bigger spiritual questions are likely already asked, such as “how do I find more happiness?” Getting more specific will help you recognize more ways to help people through your questions. Understand how your question will benefit the other person. And that ends this list of secrets. I wish you the best on your Quora asking journey.

  113. How much on average do you make from Quora per month?
  114. I was chosen to participate in partner program a while ago but still won't find a time to start and don't know if it worth time.
  115. It probably is not worth the time unless you come up with a good system to ask questions.
  116. I can't really give an average because it took me a while to ramp up and get a system going. The first few months I made like $0.03 to $0.10 per day (after asking hundreds of questions).
  117. But now some days I'll be surprised with some questions that add up to $13. My best month was maybe $90-$100.
  118. Another note is that someone with a decent sized following on social media might be able to make more by sharing the questions to generate more external traffic. Whereas if you do not have a good audience to share with, you are relying on search engine traffic and internal traffic. I assume that is one of the secrets of some of the Quora partners who are making a lot of money - they leverage excess marketing skills outside of just asking questions.

  124. I can assure you it is worth the time. An average question makes $0.70 per year. So if you took half an hour each day and asked 20 questions, that's 7,300 questions in a year and that could potentially earn you an extra $5,110 CAD.
  125. I'm making $10 a day right now and I've only asked 500 questions. I'm just getting serious now! But there is great potential with this program. The top earners make almost 10k a month....

  130. Yeah the link is actually https://www.quora.com/partners but you should already have a Quora account and have asked "useful" questions. It's really cool! Yesterday I got 30,000 views from a single question and earned $7.50 with 2600 page impressions with a very strange / controversial question in the parenting section lol.

  136. What is your strategy with asking questions, my questions seem to get 2-3 ad impressions per 300-500 views. Idk what to do.
  137. I ask 20 English questions each day. I look at the question value insights and ask similar questions that have already been asked and that I know earned quite a bit. Last month I asked 1 question and it earned over $178, another question earning under $100 that I found with Google search predictions. I've got 1.8 m views last 30 days and $330 this last month. Definitely not at my goal $500 / month goal but I am sure I'll get there. You should also look into getting your questions translated by a friend or hire someone but make sure they are 100% accurate or you will be removed from that language in the program. I know this cause I'm not in the Japanese program anymore. Also make sure you are mixing your questions up a bit, if you keep requesting from the same people, some users can and will go to your profile and report you...
