By now it's pretty natural for us to hit up each other's rooms, but when you think
about it, that means we've been together for a really long time!
I first met you at the port of Feendrache, right?
At first I thought it was dangerous for a kid like you to be out on a journey, but
it turns out that you have a better head on your shoulders than I do. I shouldn't
have worried! The way things've worked out, you've saved my hide more than I've saved
yours, and I can't thank you enough for that.
I've been pretty bad at being a big brother, but if you ever have a problem, I'll
help however I can. So call on me whenever you need!
If you ever get tired, I'll treat you with some sweet apple pie and a hot cup of tea,
so come by and hang out! We've really been through a lot, you and I.
There's a lot more I want to tell you, but I can't find the right words, so I'll
keep it simple:

A skyfarer with bright, honest eyes came in with Vane and declared that they wanted
to help Feendrache in our time of need. That skyfarer was you.
I'm sorry that I doubted you back then, and tested your sincerity.
I can't imagine that I have repaid you enough for the debt I owe you.
So please, if you ever need help, call on me.
When you do, I will do everything I can to help.

Do you remember the day we first met?
It was at the border of a land ravaged by civil war. That night, we happened
to be riding in the same carriage, and fought side by side when bandits attacked
a refugee woman and her children.
To that point in my journey, I had only seen the worst of humanity. But when I met
you, I met a person who could not help but aid those in need, and I quickly took
a liking to your kind nature.
My instincts told me that if we joined together, we could change this awful world.
And it seems like my instincts did not lie to me.
That was the beginning of our journey.
I wonder how long has passed since our first meeting.
So much has happened that I cannot begin to describe it, but when we stand together,
I feel that we can overcome any obstacle.
We have only just begun the path to creating my utopia.
Please lend me your strength as I work to make my ideals a reality.

Fate is truly a strange thing - the first time we met, we crossed swords, but now
we are friends who can attend a festival together.
The person who reconnected me with my old students was also none other than you.
I owe a great deal to you, captain, and I cannot thank you enough for it.
It is not my custom to write letters, and it has made me write about fate and other
overly grand things. If my old self saw me as I am now, I wonder; what would he say?
No matter what he would say to me, I still treasure the peaceful times I have spent with you
and your comrades. If anything ever threatens that peace, I will always be there to aid you.
