Ever notice how your voice sounds different when you hear yourself on a recording? Most of us do.
It’s because you hear your voice through your throat.
In the above picture, Chris Beatty, a vocal coach, is showing you how to hear a real version of your voice. The version everyone else hears.
You can use your hands if you can’t find a paper. Practice talking while slowly moving the paper away from your ears and then back to your ears.
You’ll hear the difference.
