The Rangul Lake is an important lake not only in Tajikistan. At one time, it was part of the Silk Road route. What’s special about it is that the country is not much on water areas which makes Ozero Rangkul, another name for Rangul Lake, a “unique” attraction. Going to the lake will take a bit of a ride since it is on top of a mountain called Pamirs. There are 4-wheel drive trucks available to do the tour.
