  1. RSS readers are small applications that collect and display RSS feeds. Most Web browsers have inbuilt RSS readers, but there are several available on the internet for free. Information fed to RSS readers typically include site updates, news articles, monthly or weekly news letters and other subjects of interest. This eliminates the need to constantly browse Web pages for new information. Several sites use RSS to quickly relay updates to interested readers. It is written in XML, or eXtensible Markup Language.
