  1. Manchester United legend Roy Keane has never been one to hold back.
  2. The former midfield enforcer has always spoken his mind and it's no surprise he strayed into punditry after retiring from the game.
  3. Jose Mourinho is another man who always has plenty to say, but recently, he's spent more time complaining about the club's own fans.
  4. Following their 1-0 win over Spurs last week, the Special One made a 'shush' gesture in response to the critics who have not been enjoying his team's style against the top sides.
  5. He then decided to take another shot at the fans in his programme notes ahead of their Champions League fixture with Benfica at Old Trafford.
  6. "I hope that you enjoy the game more than some of you did against Tottenham," he wrote in United Review ahead of the game.
  7. Although United are sitting second in the Premier League and have won all four of their Champions League group games, the critics are still getting under Mourinho's skin.
  8. However, Roy Keane has a simple message for the Red Devils' boss.

  10. "My only concern about Mourinho is that he seems to be distracted by the so-called critics out there," stated Keane, in his role as an ITV pundit.
  11. "He is probably paid eight, nine or ten million pounds a year, so focus on your own job. Rise above that. He should be better than that, but he seems to be easily upset.
  12. "Shut up and get on with your job. You are getting very well paid for it."

  14. Keane also believes the fact that Manchester City are performing so well hasn't helped United create a positive atmosphere.
  15. "They are going along nicely and one of the problems in Manchester at the moment is United fans are looking at what City are doing, how they are playing and the goals they are getting, but United just have to keep their heads down and keep winning matches," he continued.
  16. "If I was a player at United now, I'd be saying keep our heads down, let's keep chipping away. The trophies are not handed out now. Let's keep focused, keep winning and see what happens.
