A couple of Virginia State Police pilots were killed in a helicopter crash while monitoring the savage conflicts in Virginia on Saturday.
The helicopter was floating close to the white patriot rally when it collided with a lush zone on Old Farm Road around 5 p.m., simply outside the city of Charlottesville, police said.
Virginia State Police affirmed that pilots Lt. H. Jay Cullen, 48, of Midlothian, and Berke M.M. Bates, 40, of Quinton, passed on in the disaster area.
Gov. Terry McAuliffe said he had known the two pilots since 2014.
