Since theres a currently active thread, and a what you are listening to thread, as well as what you are currently reading, i thought id make this.
What game(s) are you currently playing?
Ive been playing Fate, kind of a repitive dungeon crawler, but its still better than diablo 3 (which i own as well) Something about getting better and better loot always seems to draw me in.
Also been playing Unreal tournament 2004 and Counter Strike Source whenever i feel like killing

Nothin', but I'm considering giving an ARPG a try called Path of Exile... it is currently in closed beta but can pay like $10 for a key.... but will enter open beta like Jan. 20th, so am waiting it out.

I'm going back and forth between Dark Souls, and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Both are fucking awesome. It really takes me back to play MGS again.

I found turok at gamestop for 7 bucks
I'm playing it and have no idea why it received such low ratings somewhere between a 2 and a six it was rated, but my goal like with every turok game is to complete it.
I'm taking back Zone of the enders HD tomarrow cuz i beat it, well it could have taken more time but I got stuck somewhere and put the difficulty on easy, its pre-owned so i get my 30 bucks back:yes:

FTL (Faster than Light),
Hitman Absolution,
Crusader Kings 2,
Mount and Blade, both online and singleplayer playing two mods - Prophesy of Pendor and Brytenwalda,
Team Fortress 2 (rarely)
Day-Z Mod for Arma II.
Terraria - off and on, haven't played in weeks, maybe a month or more
Sleeping Dogs - Started it up, lags a little, gotta play as a cop, not sure I want to get involved
The Walking Dead - Episode 5 came out. I need to finish up before I forget about it.
Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai
Torchlight II - got bored quick
XCOM - the dopeness, highly recommended
and that's pretty much it at the moment.

Crusader Kings II: The Republic - might be good, might not be, would love to interrupt the normal course of European history by invading Southern France and Italy as the Emir of Granada/Sultan of Al Andalus.
My balls are saving up semen for a SUPER MEGA ORGASM in preparation for Rome II. Not at all my favorite setting for the game though. I would much prefer early Antiquity - Greece, Carthage, etc. but the amount of non-biased information available on that time period, peoples living where, their relative strengths etc. isn't very well known and more importantly Rome was by far and away the dominant power of that time, making playing as any other nation either historically inaccurate or just boring/disappointing.
I'd really like to see The Creative Assembly FINALLY tackle more modern warfare though. Honestly swords and spears and arrows are beginning to bore me after LITERALLY more than 10 years of the franchise.

How do you like Hitman Absolution? I've played every other hitman game and loved them all except for Blood Money. It seemed like a regurgitated Contracts with somehow shittier graphics. At one point I even wanted to (not seriously) get a barcode tattooed on the back of my head. Still, overall, the Hitman series is one of my top 3 favorites. The other one that comes to mind is Deus Ex (shutup, Invisible War never happened).
Currently Playing:
League of Legends
Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the expansion pack (re-playing)
Dead Island 1 (bought it on Steam, never played it, just started it up the other day)
I also play Team Fortress 2 every once in a while, but I think I just played way too many hours of it to enjoy it that much anymore. I have some rare hats plus a Proof of Purchase hat and the Cheaters' Lament, but all of this hat silliness has gone too far. Plus ever since it went F2P the player base has gotten much trollier and there are just more shitheads in general. Mann vs. Machine was fun for about a week, but I strongly prefer owning humans as opposed to bots.

Dead Island is a great game and I highly recommend it. Got boring when you start getting access to guns though. They should make ammo much less available and firearms encounters should be very tense, not like some FPS.
Believe it or not I played Everquest from the ages of 11-14 maybe 15 or so and the server I played on (Tallon Zek) had a forum known as Tallon Zek Times, or TZT.
A guy from Tallon Zek and who posted extremely often, like every day, on TZT was Tryndamere, one of the creators and primary stockholders of League of Legends. He even made a character (warrior/paladin type thing?) with the name that's one of the LoL stock characters.
Hitman Absolution is absolutely great. Well worth every dollar you might pay for it (I got it for free though).
I literally, up to this point, have almost ZERO complaints. On hard mode (there are two difficulty settings above hard) it takes a few too many bullets I think to kill you, maybe 6-7, but it's a LOT better than games where you get shot 100 times and still live.

Hitman: Absolution was cool, but I felt like it lost the touch of the ok Hitman games. It felt a lot more linear and lacked the freedom of past Hitman games. Anyone else feel this way?

I felt the exact opposite. There are tons of ways to kill targets and I really don't understand at all how someone could say that the game is "linear". There are always multiple approaches to reach your target, plenty of baddies to kill or evade, etc.
Great game imo.
