Hi everyone..
This is an simple tutorial how to install Maltego on Ubuntu
First of all, what is Maltego? Well you can see the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZWTMvORjCA
Register for free at the Maltego website here https://www.paterva.com/web7/community/community.php
We need to register because after installation we have to login in order to recieve an update
Now let's install Maltego
## Download Maltego file first, i use free Maltego Community Edition
wget https://www.paterva.com/malv36/community/MaltegoChlorineCE.3.6.0.6640.deb
## Install Maltego
sudo dpkg -i MaltegoChlorineCE.3.6.0.6640.deb
## The result should be like this
Selecting previously unselected package maltego.
(Reading database ... 129936 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack MaltegoChlorineCE.3.6.0.6640.deb ...
Unpacking maltego (3.6.0CE) ...
Setting up maltego (3.6.0CE) ...
Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils (0.22-1ubuntu1) ...
Processing triggers for mime-support (3.54ubuntu1.1) ...
## Start Maltego
Start >> Internet >> Maltego Chlorine CE 3.6.0
## Fill the login with the one that you register at the Maltego website
