Two of the Premier League’s early strugglers go head to head at the Hawthorns in the search of their first win of the season on Monday.
West Bromwich Albion have had a tricky start to life back in the top flight, picking up just one point from their opening four games.
That is more than Burnley have mustered, though, with Sean Dyche’s side propping up the table as the only team yet to register a point – albeit from just three games.
The Baggies could hand a debut to Karlan Grant, who joined from Huddersfield in a £15m deal last week.
Grant scored 19 goals in the Championship last season to pique the interest of West Brom boss Slaven Bilic and is the club’s ninth summer signing.
Callum Robinson will miss out for the hosts as he self-isolates, while Hal Robson-Kanu is on the treatment table with a broken wrist.
Burnley also have injury problems to contend with, as Ben Mee, Jack Cork and Matt Lowton are out and Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Johann Berg Gudmundsson are doubts after picking up knocks on international duty.
There is some good news for Dyche as striker Jay Rodriguez is back in contention following an ankle problem.
