  1. "I have the ugliest feet in the world." A friend of mine post this on her facebook wall. I just laughed. When I looked at my feet, I guess I can relate. (haha) I was never blessed with a goddess's feet. I have a scar on my right foot, and a V-shaped tan line caused by my slippers. It' been to places you can't imagine. Stepped foot on things it never would have thought it can. But I love my feet anyway. They are one of my constant companion in serving. (=
  2. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. -1 Peter 2:21. Saying Yes to God's call to go on mission has bought me a lot of unannounced detours of tribulations. To Follow on to Jesus' footsteps means getting ready for long and aching walks on dirty roads. Imagine Jesus during His time. Going from one place to another, endured long walks and dirty pathways. No comfortable footwear to protect His walking companions. Poor feet. Already have blisters. But never did He complained. Or if He did, it never stopped Him from doing what He does best.
  3. Being in this journey has given me my own set of blisters and scars on my feet. But I realized that though Jesus may have suffered for many, He has still found that joy in His suffering because He knew it was for a greater purpose. Seek that joy in every step of your journey. May it be in suffering or trials. For God has a greater purpose for us in the end. A life of endurance and abundance. Like a well deserved foot massage!
  4. Never be afraid to get your feet dirty, because they are the result of a man's hard work. Putting your best foot forward and moving on whatever the road brings you. Jesus did the same. If He would care more about His feet and less about others, God's greatness would be stuck in one place. No more for the world to experience.
