  1. Kat Dennings born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, June 13, 1986 to a Jewish family, youngest of five children of Gerald J. Litwack, a pharmacologist, and Ellen Judith Litwack, a poet and speech therapist. In 2002 she moved with her family to Los Angeles (California).
  2. She began acting as a child, appearing in a few commercials, later debuts in the episode Hot Child in the City of the third season of Sex and the City, continues to work for television, appearing in episodes of several television series such as Without a Trace, Less Than Perfect and CSI. She began her acting career starring in several films and American TV became popular with Raising Dad. In 2004 she gets a small part in the film Raise Your Voice and gets smaller parts in Down in the Valley, 40 Year Old Virgin and London.
  3. She would have to play the role of Laynie Hart in the TV series Everwood, but for unknown reasons the role was given to Nora Zehetner. After having starred in five episodes of E.R., starring opposite Anton Yelchin in Charlie Bartlett movie, where she plays the love interest of the protagonist and the daughter of the headmaster, played by Robert Downey Jr.
  4. In 2008 she acted in the comedy The House Bunny with Anna Faris and co-star opposite Michael Cera in the romantic comedy Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. In 2010 she starred in Thor and is confirmed for the sequel, Thor: The Dark World.
  5. Since 2011 she co-starred in the sitcom with Beth Behrs 2 Broke Girls, written and produced by Michael Patrick King.
