SSG Landers defeated Samsung Lions after two consecutive days of fierce battles, reviving their hopes of advancing to the postseason.
6th place SSG defeated 2nd place Samsung 14-9 in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League home game held at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 15th.
SSG, who had defeated Samsung 11-9 the day before, continued to attack Samsung's mound and added a valuable win.
The greatest contributor to victory was Oh Tae-gon.
Oh Tae-gon came on as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 7th inning with two outs and a runner on second base and the score was 7-9, and hit a two-run home run to left field in the bottom of the 8th inning with two outs and a runner on second base and the score was 12-9.
