  1. I had a friend ask me this question and I honestly didnt know the answer. He prepped his grain per RR's rye tek. After the soak, simmer and dry he jarred them up put the lids on to pc. Then he got sidetracked for two days. Grain looks fine, is it ok to go ahead and pc now? I always do mine as a single process. But in theory the pc should destroy any nasties that might have started, right? He wants to put them in the pc today, he soaked simmered and jarred up on Sunday.
  2. Its not ideal, but you should be fine to pc and proceed as usual.
  3. Use them. A 24-hr "fermentation" (it doesn't actually ferment) is part of my grain procedure, though I do it for a particular reason.
  4. They're good to go. May smell a tad, but there's no reason the mycelium won't love it once it's sterile. Some experienced biology peeps have told me they even may like the tad of pre-digestion like their food gets in the wild, but it won't effect your mycology project for better or for worse.
