  1. I was wondering the other night what the goal of conscious intelligent life would be. And I realized that for it to even exist after a certain point it would have to unify. The weapons and destructibility of a species only gets greater and greater as the species becomes more technologically advanced. This then presents the problem for the species because in order for it to continue advancing itself technologically, it must come to some agreement to not destroy itself, it must come together. The species reaches a pivotal point. A paradox, it can't have it both ways. It must shed it's inferior perspectives and evolve, or destory itself. It must come to understand one another and unify, or it is basically doomed to never being able to advance.
  2. So I was thinking maybe if there are ET's out there, more advanced than us. They must have gotten past their fear, hate, condemnation, retribution, in order to even be existing at all. I basically view the human species as going through some adolescent phasing right now.
  3. Perhaps this is the progression of all sentient life. I think as many tools as we build to destroy ourselves like nukes, we also construct tools to help us come together. Like the internet. No one really looks as the internet like that, they just see it as some accident that happened to revolutionize our world but what if our own consciousness is unintentionally, inadvertently constructing the tools that will ultimately save us in the end.
  4. "The computer in your cell phone today is a million times cheaper and a thousand times more powerful and about a hundred thousand times smaller (than the one computer at MIT in 1965) and so that's a billion-fold increase in capability per dollar or per euro that we've actually seen in the last 40 years," I think I was just reading an article about 3d microchips (I dont understand that) and nano cells.
  5. Where do you see human beings going? At the rate that we are advancing now, things are occurring at an accelerating rate. I honestly can't envision the next 100 years, much less the next 50 or even 25. Perhaps we are just moments away from the great paradox of human civilization. where we literally have to just give up our fears, prejudices, insecurities, and judgement and make the great leap of conscious evolution into peace, love, and acceptance.
