Robin knows that in order to get the attention of a famous superhero movie director voiced by , the Teen Titans need an arch-nemesis. The Teen Titans try to crash a movie premiere — one of the titans forces five attendees through a portal into a void to take their seats.
Friendship is also what actually saves them in the end. Robin convinces the rest of the Teen Titans—which includes Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Raven—that battling Slade will get them the cinematic attention they deserve. To The Movies delivers a watered down plot which is overshadowed by cheap laughs and drawn out musical numbers.
The problem is that Robin and his band of superhero buddies -- galaxy girl Starfire , demon-daughter Raven , half-robot Cyborg , and shape-shifter Beast Boy -- are usually more focused on conquering their hunger than conquering villains, and no one takes them seriously. But the group doesn't always make the most considerate decisions -- and they sure love a good fart joke. The story is hilariously simple. Will the Teen Titans be able to stop Slade? As the only channel of its time to air strictly cartoons or at least primarily since 2007 , their job is to air the show on a basis.

Unfortunately for Robin voiced by Scott Menvillehe and his teammates — alien warrior Starfire Hynden Walchshape-shifter Beast Boy Greg Cipesgoth-girl mage Raven Tara Strongand human-android hybrid Cyborg Khary Payton — are the laughing-stocks of the superhero world, since this team is more interested in waffles and musical numbers than in actual heroics. The film finds Superman trying to eliminate the world's nuclear threat, but his best intentions run afoul of a silly, badly dated villain named Nuclear Man. There was also a weird bit about a weather satellite creating bad weather, which isn't what weather satellites do. Seeing Clark Kent fight Superman was pretty cool, though. This is Nolan going full Hollywood, smashing plot points into place by sheer force of will rather than because they make sense. An extremely theatrical as Bane is amusing front to back, and a nuke with a countdown clock on it will never get old. This version is still not great especially at three freaking hoursbut it's a monumental improvement over the theatrical version. It was his first movie, so that's not surprising. But it's a shame, because Routh has gotten much better in the years since. There are different edits of this movie, and we frankly can't keep them straight. But the sight of a powerless Clark getting beat up in a diner made Superman as sympathetic as he's ever been. John Williams' score soars, and so does the believable and compelling romance between Superman and Lois Lane. The film convincingly blended camp in the form of 's wonderful Lex Luthoran epic origin story that actually felt epic, and funny lines. The scene in which Supes and Lois fly together is one of the most beautiful metaphors for new love ever captured on film.
