  3. O my God,
  4. I am heartily sorry for
  5. having offended Thee,
  6. and I detest all my sins,
  7. because I dread the loss of heaven,
  8. and the pains of hell;
  9. but most of all because
  10. they offend Thee, my God,
  11. Who are all good and
  12. deserving of all my love.
  13. I firmly resolve,
  14. with the help of Thy grace,
  15. to confess my sins,
  16. to do penance,
  17. and to amend my life.
  19. Amen.
