Are One Click Apps important for VPS providers ?
I have checked a few VPS providers and I see that most of them do not offer one click apps.

Also, the ones that support them, don't really offer many apps. They just offer around 10-15 different apps, and this are huge companies so I guess they could offer many more if they wanted.
So, I am wondering, do customers use one click apps ? would it be a waste of time to offer one click apps ?
Thank you for your comments.
Regards.
To be honest, I associate one click installs with managed or shared hosting or servers, VPS tends to be more bare bones and roll your own.
the problem is mostly license costs.
those 1 click apps are usually licenses and not cheap.
some providers offer image installs instead with specific apps instead of 1 click installs.
that doesn't require additional licenses.

I wouldn't really call it a standard thing anymore.
It used to be more common, but as software licenses have moved to more SaaS-based models, the types of apps that would be available have become cost prohibitive.

Yes, you install your own software in a vps, but if you usually install lamp o you want to deploy an openvpn or a backup server. Why not have a app ready to perform the installation in a couple of minutes and then you can configure everything ?

The one click apps I saw in vps providers do not have licenses. To mention a few: lamp, lemp, openvpn, backup server, web apps (prestashop, wordpress...), etc
VPS providers do offer Image installs technically speaking but they are commonly known as one click apps.

to be fair you can easily install the apps you mentioned with an auto installer script from the developers websites.
those are more up-to-date and quicker to configure than 1click installs as they're almost always outdated.
upto a few years ago it was difficult but nowadays they offer installers
