  1. The Company you keep
  2. It Is Better To Be Alone, Than In The Wrong Company
  3. Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are.
  4. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl.
  5. But, if you associate with eagles,
  6. you will learn how to soar to great heights.
  7. "A mirror reflects a man's face,
  8. but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses."
  9. The simple but true fact of life
  10. is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.
  11. The less you associate with some people,
  12. the more your life will improve.
  13. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others,
  14. it increases your mediocrity.
  15. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience
  16. with negative thinking and negative acting people.
  17. As you grow, your associates will change.
  18. Some of your friends will not want you to go on.
  19. They will want you to stay where they are.
  20. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl.
  21. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream.
  22. Those that don't increase you, will eventually decrease you.
  23. Consider this:
  24. * Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
  25. * Never discuss your problems with someone
  26. incapable of contributing to the solution,
  27. because those who never succeed
  28. themselves are always first to tell you how.
  29. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life.
  30. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain
  31. when you exchange ideas with the wrong person.
  32. * Don't follow anyone who are not going anywhere.
  33. With some people you spend an evening:
  34. with others you invest it.
  35. * Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions
  36. along the road of life.
  37. * Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.
