President Obama just released a statement saying he's working on legislation to expand federal authority when it comes to fighting malicious internet behavior. This means deleting ddos programs and making ddos a crime.
The feds going after botnets—groups of computers that can work together to perform an activity, like flooding a target with artificial or inflated traffic—would certainly make it tougher for people to get their hands on the tools needed to execute DDoS attacks. This would attempt to destroy anonymous's ability to shut down websites. We can't let this happen. Respond with Facebook, Twitter, 4Chan, and any other social media website or app you know of. Ddos government websites and prepare protests. We cannot lose this battle because it will hinge on our principles. Track lizard squad, because they are the reason the government is responding to ddos. Think about a world where the people have no say on what happens on the internet. No more attacking corrupt governments or big businesses that steal peoples information. That would mean NO MORE ANONYMOUS!!!! We are the 99% against corruption and evil that nobody else is willing to fight.
