Hi, as you may have noticed Goldentowns uses Adobe Flash Player which is not available anymore for Android. Here i will show you how to run this awesome game on all android devices - tablets, smartphones, etc.
Due to the lack of time many people that want to succeed in Goldentowns will have to play on their smartphones or tablets which they can obviously take anywhere. I wanted to do the same, but I found it really difficult to run this game on Android, but I finally have came to the solution.
At first, I tried downloading old versions of Flash Player for Android but none of them was working.
I tried many different browsers: Dolphin Browser, Google Chrome, standard Android browser, Opera etc. but still nothing.
The issue is that these browser don't have Flash Player Decoder Plugin, so they just can't read it.
However, on Mozilla Firefox does - Flash Player works, but screen flashes like strobe so it's not a good idea to use it.
I thought that Mozilla Firefox is the only browser that can be used to display Flash Player's contect, but i found much better browser: the only way to play Goldentowns on Android without having any problems is to download application called "FlashFox". To find it you need to go to Android Market, click on "magnifying glass button" in the top right corner and type "FlashFox". Then click on download. It takes about 30mb of space, so it's not a big deal - nowadays most Android Devices have memory cards with about 16 gb's of free space.
This application is based on the Mozilla Firefox for Android code but is a different repackaging of it - so it looks just like Mozilla Firefox, but has an ad below.
After downloading, it will install automatically, so just click on it's icon and it will start. Then click on top of the screen, type "http://www.goldentowns.com/", then your username and password, click yellow login button and enjoy this awesome game on Android ;)
It may be a bit slow while loading, everything depends on what device you are using. If it's too slow, you should restart it and clean random-access memory.
