Bank of America is the last major U.S. bank to publicly commit to not finance Arctic drilling. This is a major victory for protecting the Arctic Refuge and for the Indigenous Gwich'in people, who call the Refuge "The Sacred Place Where Life Begins." Gwich'in culture, traditions, and community are deeply tied to the land and ecosystem — and they're continuing to fight to protect the Refuge.
