Kanye's brightest Adidas kicks yet hit the market on November 18.
Another Yeezy Boost drop is almost upon us. The “Semi-Frozen Yellow” edition of the low-top 350 V2s will hit shelves and online retailers on Nov. 18. And while you don't want to miss any Yeezy release, these highlighter-yellow kicks are basically impossible to overlook. They're also going to be tough to grab ahold of: they're rumored to be the most limited 350 V2 released yet, which is saying something.
You can expect all the usual Yeezy 350 V2 details (full Adidas Primeknit upper, Boost sole, and “SPLY-350” stitching), but this time the low-top sneaker features a vibrantly colored upper and a slightly hidden gum outsole. The eye-catching colorway makes these the brightest and boldest pair of Yeezy Boosts since the now-iconic silhouette first debuted two years ago. The end result is one hell of a unique looking sneaker, even by Kanye West's make-it-weird standard.
Neon is a new look for West; most of his dad-leaning wardrobe of late features desaturated colors. He's the king of monochromatic layering, and much of his Yeezy line (and previous Adidas releases) leans toward neutral or subdued tones. If you look for it, though the brighter colors are there: in West’s The Life of Pablo merch and the recently released Wave Runner 700. Hell, remember the Red October Yeezys? Also worth noting: A powder blue colorway of the 350 V2s is also rumored to drop in the near future.
With the release date for the Semi-Frozen Yellow Boosts still four weeks away, you have plenty of time to work on your "add to cart" trigger finger—or at least plan for a consolation purchase if you miss out. (May we recommend a pair of sock-sneakers?) The Yeezy Boost hype continues—this time in extremely living color.
