Otohits is 3 years old!
It is the perfect time to make a little retrospective on what happened.
First, here are some nice figures compared to last year:
- 57 000 members (+185%)
- Around 6 000 active surfers 24h/24 (+122%)
- 74 000 links registered (+48%)
- Almost 5.8 billion hits delivered (+280%)
New major features added this year: Application V3, Clicks and Sort features, new Anticheat system.
I want to thank you all for your participation. You are the heart of the website.
3 years is not that much and even with our relative youngness we managed to become a major actor on the autosurf planet. And we will not stop there!
The new application version is the first step to a better quality and easier surf and there are still a lot more features in preparation for this year.
But having success brought us some problems. This year has surely been the hardest since the creation of the website. We encountered performance issues due to the success of the platform and cheating was a major problem until recently. A lot of work has been made underneath to protect you from these flaws. Main objective is still providing you the best experience.
Last year I said "managing Otohits is still a pleasant adventure", today I would like to say that it is just an amazing project and we'll do everything to continue on this way. Again many thanks for your help and support.
Now it's time for celebration, I'm happy to announce the return of the contests (both referral and surf) and the objective is to make them permanent for every month. First one will start in 6 days, I hope your referral links and instances are ready for them (http://www.otohits.net/home/contests).

New application released - 23-05-2016
Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to announce you that a new version of the application is available.
This major update brings you 2 editions of the Application:
- Desktop: New viewer with the browser integrated in the Application (equivalent to the V2 look and feel).
- VPS: Similar to the current V3.
Aside multiples fixes, this new release brings very important changes, main ones are:
- The internal browser has been updated (chrome 49).
- Support of proprietary codecs (display natively Youtube/Dailymotion videos).
- Waiting time between 2 links during the navigation has been improved (up to -20%), internal tests show a clear increase on the points earned per day.
- Add command lines/advanced option support for the installer and the application.
- The application has been strengthen especially for VPS/Server usage (will be automatically restarted if something is wrong with the links displayed).
I hope you will enjoy it, I'm really exited to see how it will perform and hope you'll be pleased with the new features it will bring. You will find all the information on the dedicated page for the V3 (http://www.otohits.net/account/v3app).
I strongly invite you to test it and send back to me your comments/issues if any.
The release of this V3.1 will also mark the end of support for V2 and V3.0 soon. After a short period of test, the end of life date (should be in less than 2 months) will be communicated.
As some of you already know, this new version has been a great opportunity to get back on track and to enrich Otohits experience. Consequently, I'm happy to announce that a Linux version of the application is in preparation. Even though it is not ready yet, we will focus on it in the next weeks.
Since one piece of good news deserves another, get ready for Wednesday, as this is the 3rd anniversary of the website. More exiting news are coming!

Hello everyone,
Here are some news about Otohits:
First feedbacks for the V3 of the Application are pretty good. Despite few minor issues, it seems to run pretty well. Clicks and auto scroll on pages will be normally introduced early September.
This looks like the right time to introduce back our contests.
As such, 2 new contests will be launched for September:
- 50€ will be shared among best recruiters
- 50€ for the best surfers
Get your social skills and surf instances ready for the event!
In the next few days, the points obtained by buying packages in the shop will be lowered. Prices will remain the same but the amount of point obtained will decrease. This is to improve the balance of points in circulation on the platform.
To provide more flexibility for payments, a new system has been added : SuperRewards. You will be able to buy points with numerous payment systems (credit cards, mobile, bitcoins, Skrill and many others) and also have the opportunity to win some points too without paying anything by answering some offers. Don't hesitate to have a look on the shop page.

Hello everyone,
Here are some important announcements about Otohits:
Version 3 of the application is out !
2 main objectives have been followed during his development:
- Improve the overall efficiency of the autosurf itself, making sure as much as possible that visits are correctly counted.
- Make it as transparent as possible, to be able to use it on an everyday basis.
Here are the main info for this new version:
- It comes as a beta, you will find a dedicated page for it in your menu (http://www.otohits.net/account/v3app).
- It does not require the .Net framework anymore. Performance, memory consumption and speed of navigation should be greatly improved.
- This version was primarily intend to be used on private servers (VPS). As such, you don't see the websites that you navigate on and the interface is as basic as possible.
- The referer override has been greatly improved. It will be more reliable and will work for any valid Url even if it does not follow security guidelines (https to http for example).
- Many improvements have been added to maximize the efficiency of the surf and the security to make sure that your site will be seen correctly.
In a near future, this new version will bring 2 new features:
- you will be able to choose if the application should "scroll" on your links.
- To simulate a more natural navigation, you'll be able to determine a number of clicks on the internal links of your website (5 max). The application will then choose and navigate to random internal links. This will also come with a click ratio (from 1 to 100) where you can choose the percentage of chance that there will be navigation on.
These features will be 100 efficient when the version 2 of the application will became obsolete. In the meantime, both of these features will be available for free!
As you can see, this version is a major break through. The migration will take some time, here is the planning:
- You can install and test the new version, making sure that it works correctly for your environment.
- A special achievement will be created for all the members that will try the application before his final release.
- The current version (V2) of the application will continue to work until the final release of the V3 which will happen when it will be considered stable.
- I know that not being able to see the websites can be disturbing as it was intend to users that use multiple IP Addresses. If you really want a version with the display of the websites, please express yourself and contact me.
I hope you will enjoy it, I'm really exited to see how it will perform and hope you'll be pleased with the new features it will bring. You will find a lot of information on the dedicated page for the V3. If you have any other question, don't hesitate to contact me.
You maybe saw that the PTP page has been disabled.
During the month of July, an unexpected increase of surfers happened, passing from 3000 active surfers to 4000 (with some peaks at 5000). It is of course a great news, but it impacted the server. PTP page consume a lot of resources and since Otohits is now a well established autosurf, it does not bring enough value for us or for the heart of the autosurf.
Re-enabling the PTP page is not planned at the moment.
Some of you noticed negative points on links during the last 2 weeks. It is coming from a performance improvement and since it could be very disturbing, it will be removed, going back to real time updates.
Work for the next weeks will be to update and make sure that the new application works well.

Happy birthday Otohits! - 25-05-2015

Otohits is 2 years old !
It is the perfect time to make a little retrospective on what happened.
First, here are some nice figures compared to last year:
- 20 000 members (+571 %)
- Around 2700 active surfers 24h/24 (+2700 %)
- 50 000 links registered (+714 %)
- Almost 1.5 billion hits delivered (+3535 %)
- 1 server change with a downtime inferior to 1 hour
- New features added: App only option, with and without popup category merged into "Safe" category, a new design for the website, multiple IPs account, a new version of the application and OKPay support for the shop.
By looking at them, I can only say one thing: Thank you all ! Thank you for your surf and your participation.
Otohits is still young, but we managed to make it as one of the biggest autosurf on the planet.
It is not the end though, there are still some nice features that are under development, I hope I'll be able to announce a big change concerning the application in 1 or 2 months and mobile applications are still in my mind.
But having success brought us some issues. Over the last 5 months, 3 major cheating attempts have been identified and fixed.
The bigger the site is, the less time I have to work on additional features. That is why the wish list has been removed for the moment.
These downside didn't scratch my motivation at all, managing Otohits is still a pleasant adventure, thanks for your help and support.
To celebrate this day, you will all receive 50 000 bonus points on your account. Members that have purchased at least 1 package in the shop this year (may 2014 to may 2015) will have this bonus doubled.
These bonus points will be added on the 31 of May at 10pm GMT. So you still have time if you want to purchase a package in the shop, or refer some new members as they will receive the bonus too if they register before the end of the month.
