  4. Settings for bitbar.conf (located in ~/.bitbar/ on Linux systems, if there is not there, create it):
  6. rpcuser=xpansive
  7. rpcpassword=318nagf
  8. rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
  9. rpcport=9344
  10. daemon=1
  11. server=1
  12. gen=0
  14. Then, start your bitbar-qt client from command line:
  16. ./bitbar-qt -server -addnode=5.249.152.30:8777
  18. The -addnode value is a permanent node for bitbar, so that ensures you will start connecting to peer nodes
