I’m sorry but it really does enrage me how cavalier they are about it and how much they lie and say “women are protected” by the law and by men. We aren’t and haven’t been for a really, really, really long time.

I totally disagree. I have been groped and then dismissed by men AND women because the fact that I am young and attractive apparently makes it totally FINE for men to constantly harass and grope me when I was a young girl, a teen, AND an adult. I have been harassed, cursed out, degraded, shunned, and even laughed at for thinking it was “assault” when a drunk man in a bar would swoop past and rub himself up against me. That is a goddamn crime and those men are criminals.
I have been laughed at and dismissed by both men AND women as “I should EXPECT it because I LOOK the way that I do”. And as we all know…..if you’re an attractive man OR woman you are somehow “free game” for EVERYONE to abuse and everyone to harass and everyone to dismiss as “never a victim” because apparently attractive people have PERFECT lives and and unfair advantage (which is total crap) and therefore should be “more tolerant” when people abuse and disrespect them.
